Hollywood Life scoop on the return of a favorite original Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and what episodes you can expect to see him in.

We can all agree there’s been a serious lack of Elijah this season, but rest assured, the perfect-haired Original will be back in our living rooms before you know it. “I am returning soon,” Daniel Gillies told us at the Baja International Film Festival. ”[Executive producer] Julie Plec is saying episode 15 and 16, but I am going back to film very soon! I am very lucky to be on two shows [The Vampire Diaries and NBC's Saving Hope] that are on the air.”
