There must be something in the water in Mystic Falls because its residents have always been supernaturally hot. Add another one to the ranks, because Scottish actor Paul Telfer has scored the role of Alexander,Zap2It reports.
Vampire hunters in Mystic Falls are nothing new: Alexander had the job back in the 1100s and will show up in The Vampire DiariesSeason 4, Episode 4 flashback. It was a dangerous time for vamps, as more than a few are set to be rounded up and burnt at the stake.
Rebekah (Claire Holt) was in town at the time, and her involvement will reveal a “big secret that will change the course of the season for everybody,” Julie Plec tells TVLine.
That’s not the only flashback we’ll see this season. Zap2It confirms we’ll see a World War II episode, complete with soldier boy Stefan (Paul Wesley).
